He is part of the founding management team and is responsible for driving the uptake of the MAS offering across all channels and markets. Carl has spent the last 10 years working within the CRM, digital, mobile media and advertising markets most notably as VP Sales EMEA for Enpocket - recently acquired by Nokia. Carl was instrumental in expanding the mobile marketing and advertising activities for the business with the addition of Vodafone, Orange and a host of brands, agencies and content and media companies; and was involved in the company's strategic acquisitions.
Prior to 123play, Carl has several successful starts ups under his belt from the online, media and analytics space and started his early career with IBM and Sykes Enterprises in the CRM and IT infrastructure markets. He also set up his own mobile media consultancy working with global mobile operators, agencies and brands on their mobile content and advertising strategies, and has also worked with both handset manufacturers, games publishing and content aggregation markets extensively.

He joined London Weekend TV in 1978 in the airtime sales division and became Executive Sales Director at Granada in 1994. In 1998 he set up a Commercial Enterprises division at Granada which focused on developing revenue streams across the company's programme brands and encouraged advertisers to investigate 'beyond the spot' opportunities.
In 2004 he was appointed to run ITV's Sponsorship & Branded Content unit as well as managing the company's interests in the Irish Broadcaster, TV3, and their assets in the cable and satellite broadcaster, Granada Sky Broadcasting.
He became ITV's Brand Partnerships Director in October 2005. His unit is responsible for all Broadcast Sponsorship, Online, Interactive, Mobile, Broadband and Product Placement trading with advertisers and their agencies.
