Next Generation Advertising – Social Networks, UGC, Blogs, Video & Podcasts

Knexus has announced the latest peer group learning Forum for its senior digital marketing users. ‘Next Generation Advertising – Social Networks, UGC, Blogs, Video & Podcasts’’ examines how new technology is transforming the landscape for advertisers, and how to ensure that the new technologies deliver greater reach and effective engagement for brands. The Forum offers participants the opportunity to learn from Knexus industry experts and share insights with peers (takes place in London, UK - 2 October 2008).

Knexus Forum on Next Generation Advertising examines how new technologies such as Social Networks, Blogs, VOD, Mobile and Interactive TV are widening the options for brands to reach their target audience and requiring fundamental changes in approach.

Knexus has invited two industry experts from its editorial panel to provide their specialist knowledge. Gary Knight, Brand Partnerships Director at ITV, will share his vision of what advertising in the next generation will look like, together with the anticipated speed and impact of new technologies replacing traditional media. Bill Daring, CEO at KMP will probe the specific opportunities of social media advertising, addressing how advertisers can benefit from the huge audiences in social network such as Facebook and MySpace, and understanding the impact of users not only consuming but generating content.

The Forum will be facilitated by digital marketing industry veteran Graeme Foux, CEO at Knexus. The professionally moderated roundtable provides participating brands with the opportunity for a rich dialogue and peer group sharing of insights and experience. The effectiveness of the roundtables is underpinned by the strict policy of access to major brand marketers only, with no access for agencies & vendors.

Knexus Forums are complimentary for Knexus license holders such as AstraZeneca, B&Q, Cadbury, Dell, GSK, Ingram Micro, Kraft, Nokia Siemens, Norwich Union and Shell. For non customers, entry is £695 per person (ex VAT) and is fully refundable when purchasing a license with Knexus (within 60 days of the Forum)
