Knexus Platinum Forum “Digital Marketing – Looking to the Future” generates high level of positive feedback Last week’s Knexus Platinum Forum “Digital Marketing – Looking to the Future” was unanimously voted a big success. Held in Paris (June 26 - 27), the forum was attended by director level marketers from companies such as Cadbury, Dell, L’Oreal, NBC Universal & Shire Pharmaceuticals U.S. The agenda included a networking dinner, industry expert insights and facilitated, peer group learning. Alison Guise (European GM at Commission Junction) addressed new revenue generation opportunities online, whilst Paul Blunden (Foviance CEO) tackled the challenge of implementing a successful multichannel strategy. In addition, participant Hugo Drayton (CEO at Phorm) provided detailed insights on the future of online advertising, and in particular the importance of display advertising and the role of behavioural targeting in delivering greater accuracy for advertisers. The roundtable discussions covered topics including the role of agencies and the anticipated impact of proposed changes to the web name registration. Participants also had the chance to tackle issues specific for their companies e.g. the impact of web 2.0 on regulated companies Knexus Platinum Forum received very positive feedback from all participants, with a resounding 100% yes when asked if they had generated new ideas and also 100% yes when asked whether they planned to connect with other Forum attendees. The next offline peer group learning Forum for Platinum users, 'Digital Marketing – Innovate or Stagnate' , is scheduled to take place in Amsterdam (November 27 & 28).
