Challenge:

  • The HR department in a major telecommunications company was looking to provide a flexible online portal for its Management Leadership Program
  • Specifically, the Company required an integrated capability to manage the communications and logistics for the program, provide rapid learning and enable leadership program participants to network and collaborate beyond infrequent face to face gatherings
  • The HR team also wanted a more interactive dialogue with colleagues on the program in order to make improvements to the program more quickly
  • The existing intranets capabilities were limited and restrictive, e.g. not possible to provide online video or podcasts. This was due to a combination of security issuers and disparate systems resulting from mergers
  • A new Sharepoint intranet was being implemented. However, HR could not get a tailored solution internally within their required timeline. Instead, an alternative solution was required that could be accessed within Sharepoint
