Knexus was created in early 1998 to bring together a small number of business professionals responsible for intranet development within their blue-chip companies. The original thinking behind the creation of the community, was the opportunity to create a secure environment within which leading blue-chip companies could share ideas and experience.

Over its first two years, the community grew rapidly on a viral basis. Despite accusations of ‘dealing with dinosaurs’, Knexus remained firmly focused on large traditional companies, a policy which was ultimately vindicated by the marketplace.

Despite changing market conditions, Knexus has continued to grow and prosper, underpinned by a unique value proposition delivered to its members.
