Summary 
One of the world’s leading network utility companies has invested in the introduction Microsoft SharePoint Portal to replace its file server infrastructure and ultimately replace the existing bespoke Intranet. The infrastructure will be implemented in tandem with an updated desktop environment (XP) and SharePoint will be delivered initially with a heavy lock down of inherent functionality. The member company hopes to deliver a better system and application environment for its employees through this project.
