Question: “Are
you working on next years budgets?”
Whether you are
or not, you would have more confidence in allocating funding or prioritising
initiatives if you knew your team had the support of NetGroup’s Corporate
Digital Business peer group. This support has provided our members
with valuable insights into what other FTSE 100 organisations are
doing, enabling them to benchmark
their initiatives, generate new ideas, share experiences and to network
with their peer groups.
The NetGroup community has two forthcoming strategic events to be
hosted by BAT and Standard Chartered Bank, respectively. The subject
areas will help senior managers involved in strategy, e-business,
programme management or marketing to evaluate ROI estimates on new
initiatives, effectively manage budget allocations across a portfolio
of projects and track project implementations against strategic intent
across complex organisational structures.
If you register on Knexus, you’ll become eligible for a guest
invite to a forthcoming NetGroup community event of your choice. This
offer is subject to NetGroups standard terms and conditions of membership.

NetGroup
Elevator – 27 November 2002
How Do You Turn Strategy into Action?
Creating the right business strategy
presents a major challenge for any company. But the critical success
factor for a strategy is not in the definition but in how effectively
that strategy is communicated and executed.
To do this successfully means putting in place the right mechanisms,
processes and governance structures that will enable effective change.
British American Tobacco is tackling these important issues, and will
be sharing their experience with NetGroup members.
If you have responsibility for strategic
development within your company and have developed mechanisms, processes
and governance structures to support this, please come and join us. |
